What this site collects, and what it doesn't.

Collected
Two separate things, and they never mix. What you type into the idea form comes to me. How the page is used - where people click, how far they scroll, what size their screen is - goes to Microsoft Clarity, and never includes anything you type.
Why
The form exists so I can read your idea and reply to it. The behaviour data exists so I can see where this page loses people and fix the page. Neither is a mailing list, and neither is shared with anyone selling anything.Your data is never sold. Not what you send me, not what Clarity records, not to anyone, ever.
Where it goes
Straight to me, as a private message. It passes through one hosted function that forwards it and keeps no copy. No CRM, no lead database.
Tracking
One tool: Microsoft Clarity, which draws heatmaps and replays anonymous sessions. It never captures what you type - the whole form is masked, so form text cannot reach it at all. Microsoft is the data controller for what it does collect, and states that it does not sell it. No advertising tags, no retargeting, no conversion pixels.
If you send
Once your message has gone through, that visit's recording is tagged so I can tell it apart from everyone else's. The tag is a one-way hash of your email, made in your browser - Microsoft gets the hash and a two-character hint, never the address. Type an email and change your mind, and nothing is tagged and nothing is sent.
Cookies
Clarity sets a few cookies: first-party ones to tell one visit from the next, and Microsoft's own that recognise a browser across Microsoft sites. Microsoft's documentation states that MUID also serves its advertising. I set none of my own. You can opt out of Clarity everywhere at optout.aboutads.info, and Clarity honours the Global Privacy Control signal a browser can send.
Hosting logs
The host keeps standard request logs, including your IP address, for security and abuse prevention. The function that forwards your submission does the same, and reads your IP address to stop the form being hammered.
How long
Clarity keeps a recording for about a month, and a small random sample for longer - Microsoft's schedule, not mine.
Your idea
Yours. Nothing you send is shown, named, or reused as an example without your written OK. NDA on request, always.
